Job Opportunity: Head of Marketing
Location: Carlisle
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 + Bonus
Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday

NXT is working on behalf of an award-winning business in Carlisle to expand their team with a Head of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Manage marketing relationships with key manufacturers and align with our commercial goals.
- Deliver our marketing rate card and maximize partner involvement and investment with our Category managers.
- Full responsibility for the management & development of the marketing function.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for online and retail channels, working closely with our ecommerce agency.
- Oversee the creation of all marketing materials including website, ads, email campaigns, social media, and retail initiatives.
- Drive the digital marketing strategy, including website optimization, paid search, SEO, content marketing, email marketing, social media presence, affiliates, and online advertising.
- Ownership and execution of the cross-channel marketing calendar in alignment with the product and promotional plan.
- Utilize marketing analytics tools to track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Develop strong working relationships with all key business departments and partners.
- Manage the brand, digital, and retail marketing budget.
- Maintain excellent organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven leadership experience in a similar role, with experience in building and managing campaigns.
- Experience within high-turnover B2C Ecommerce Business.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within retail or services businesses.
- Attention to detail and responsibility for work accuracy.
- Exceptional team leadership skills and motivation capabilities.
- Outstanding analytical skills with a deep understanding of metrics application to business strategies and daily sales tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to create and deliver innovative marketing campaigns online and offline.
- Strategic, analytical, and commercial awareness.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with key business departments.
- A team player with a passion for customer engagement and delivering the right message at the right time with the right content.
