Job summary

Sword Group is seeking a Head of Managed Services to lead the development, delivery and growth of our managed service capability across energy, data and information management. You will direct Service Delivery Managers, drive governance, and shape scalable service offerings while ensuring strong commercial controls and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in managed services.
• Experience delivering for multiple customers and contracts.
• Ability to design and implement service processes and operating models.
• Experience leading Service Delivery Managers and wider service teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with budget control and profitability.
• Proven ability to manage SLAs, KPIs and contractual commitments.
• Energy sector or data management background advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and development of Sword Group's managed services portfolio.
• Develop and coach Service Delivery Managers; strengthen governance and processes.
• Own and improve service management processes, governance and operating models.
• Oversee service performance against contractual commitments, SLAs and KPIs.
• Build relationships with senior customer stakeholders as a senior point of contact.
• Lead design and implementation of new service processes and transitions.
• Collaborate with operational, commercial and technical teams to structure, resource and govern services.
• Maintain oversight of service budgets, cost management, forecasting and commercial performance.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing services and develop new offerings.
• Support scalable, repeatable service models and mobilisation of new engagements.
• Provide management information and insight on performance, risks and improvements.
• Maintain governance across the portfolio and manage operational and commercial risks.
