Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is partnering with a specialist HVAC and M&E contractor in Manchester to appoint a Head of Project Management. You will oversee a team of project managers, ensure projects meet client specifications, and manage tenders, planning, and cost control.

The role requires a strong HVAC/Mechanical background, leadership experience, and a full UK driving licence, with travel to site up to 5 days a week and a clear progression path to Director level.

Qualifications

• Head of Project Management or similar experience required
• HVAC/Mechanical background essential
• Commutable to Manchester
• Full UK driving license required

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of project managers across HVAC and M&E projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, and materials
• Monitor costs and profit margins
• Travel to site up to 5 days a week
• Review tenders and quotations and plan project schedules
