Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Estimator (Mechanical) in Manchester for a specialist HVAC and mechanical building services contractor. You will be the go-to person, meet clients, present invoices, and close orders on state-of-the-art projects.

The role involves receiving design solutions, selecting equipment, estimating costs, and traveling to site up to 5 times a week. A generous car allowance and clear progression to director level are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating for mechanical HVAC/building services.
• Proven ability to meet clients and close orders.
• Willingness to travel to sites; site visits up to 5 times per week.
• Commutable to Manchester and able to represent the company.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss requirements, present invoices, and close orders.
• Receive design solutions, select equipment, and calculate full project costs.
• Travel to site up to five times per week to oversee projects.
• Be the go-to person and face of the company in client meetings.
• Represent the company during state-of-the-art projects (e.g., Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team).
