Job summary

The Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is seeking an experienced Principal Local Land Charges Officer to lead and develop the Local Land Charges service. You will ensure accurate processing of CON29 searches and maintenance of the statutory Local Land Charges Register, while guiding a team to deliver high-quality customer service.

The role requires strong knowledge of land charges legislation, excellent communication, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage the Local Land Charges service, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of CON29 searches and maintenance of the statutory Local Land Charges Register.
• Interpret and implement changes to Local Land Charges legislation, policies and procedures ensuring full compliance and effective service delivery.
• Support digital transformation initiatives, including GIS and land charges system developments.
• Drive continuous improvement through project management, performance monitoring, budget management and service development initiatives.
