Job Description

The Head of Legal will be responsible for:

1. Establishing and managing the legal function to support the company's growth.
2. Providing strategic legal guidance and advice to senior management and the commercial team.
3. Leading and developing a commercial team to meet the company's business objectives.
4. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, legislation, and contractual obligations.
5. Developing and maintaining relationships with external legal advisors when necessary.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate should be:

1. A solicitor or equivalent with 8+ years' PQE in commercial or corporate law.
2. Experienced in managing and developing legal teams.
3. Familiar with the energy sector or related fields, capable of providing strategic legal advice.
4. Possessing strong commercial acumen supporting business growth.
5. Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
