Qualifications

• Experience leading an internal IT function within an MSP/IT services provider.
• Strong technical background across infrastructure, cloud, networking and Microsoft technologies.
• Experience managing IT operations, security, budgets, suppliers and projects.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on oversight.
• Excellent stakeholder management at board level.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the internal IT estate, including infrastructure, cloud, networking and end-user computing.
• Lead internal IT operations, ensuring the stability, security and performance of business-critical systems.
• Drive technology strategy, identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and overall efficiency.
• Oversee IT security, governance, risk management and compliance.
• Manage key technology vendors, suppliers and licensing.
• Lead internal IT projects, including infrastructure improvements, cloud adoption and digital transformation.
• Work closely with senior leadership to align IT investment with wider business objectives.
