Job summary

Interface Recruitment partnered with a long-established, internationally active engineering and manufacturing business to appoint a Head of IT in the UK. This newly created role leads global IT strategy, cloud and security initiatives, and governance across multiple sites.

Reporting to the CEO, you will shape the IT roadmap, drive modernisation, build a high-performing team and foster a connected, scalable IT organisation across international locations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT in a multi-site or international business
• Ability to develop and deliver IT roadmaps across cloud, security, and governance
• Background in engineering, manufacturing, or service-led settings is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global IT strategy
• Move the organisation towards a modern cloud-led environment
• Improve Microsoft 365 maturity, governance and security
• Strengthen cyber capability and drive frameworks such as Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001
• Align ERP/CRM/systems strategy across the group
• Develop the IT team and define the future structure of the function
