Job summary

Gold Group is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager in Coventry with a hands-on leadership style. You will drive the strategy, design, and operation of our IT infrastructure estate, balancing strategic planning with operational excellence.

You will lead a team across networks, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud, and workplace technologies, while managing supplier relationships and governance. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading Infrastructure Operations and Engineering teams.
• Strong background managing enterprise infrastructure services, including networks, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud, and end-user technologies.
• Experience managing budgets, suppliers, risks, and service delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching, Fortinet Firewalls, VMware, Azure, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the infrastructure strategy, roadmap, standards, and operating model.
• Lead Infrastructure Team and drive improvements in service, automation, and performance.
• Oversee networks, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Manage incidents, changes, problems, and service delivery per ITIL best practices.
• Oversee budgets, supplier relationships, procurement, and technology assets.
