Job summary

Asset Resourcing Limited in Gloucester is recruiting an IT Manager to lead hands-on IT projects within a hybrid workplace, with 3 days per week in the office. The role reports to the IT Director and will run projects from start to finish, integrating newly acquired businesses onto systems and infrastructure.

The IT team is lean; you will own projects, manage budgets, coordinate with suppliers, and communicate progress clearly across the business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT project management or a technical delivery role.
• Track record delivering infrastructure, cloud or systems projects from requirements to handover.
• Enough technical depth to do real work on projects.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.
• Experience managing budgets and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with ITIL change management and project methodologies (PRINCE2/Agile/Waterfall).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver IT projects from requirements through to handover.
• Hands-on with configuration, testing and deployment.
• Gather and document business requirements and build project plans.
• Write test plans and run testing groups with users.
• Be main contact for stakeholders and report progress.
• Hold colleagues and suppliers to account.
• Manage third-party suppliers and delivery against outcomes.
• Manage budgets and report progress to leadership.
• Work within ITIL change and service transition processes.
• Hand over projects to support teams with full docs and training.
