Job summary

Calderdale College invites applications for Head of Inclusion to lead the college's inclusion agenda, oversee SEND and ELS provision, and remove barriers to participation and achievement for all learners.

You will work with Curriculum and Quality to embed inclusive teaching, manage the ELS and Inclusive Learning teams, optimise funding, and ensure high-quality partnerships and programmes such as Project SEARCH and 14-16 ECT.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading inclusion, SEND and ELS teams.
• Track record of improving learner access and achievement.
• Ability to deploy funding and resources effectively.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for inclusion agenda across college.
• Line manage ELS Curriculum Area Leader, ECT Manager, two SEND Team Leaders, and SEND Manager.
• Collaborate with Curriculum and Quality to enhance teaching for inclusion.
• Oversee funded programmes like Project SEARCH and 14-16 ECT.
