Langley House Trust in Wakefield is seeking a MOJ Support Worker for a permanent 40‑hour week to help individuals move forward with confidence, dignity and hope.

Responsibilities

• Provide keywork support to clients under MAPPA arrangements.
• Manage risk and safety through assessment, monitoring behaviour, de-escalation, and compliance with orders and house rules.
• Maintain accurate client records and manage medication in line with policy.
• Promote participation by engaging clients in the project and supporting involvement and complaints.
• Work collaboratively with the team, supporting referrals and transitions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide keywork support to clients under MAPPA arrangements, building positive, pro‑social relationships and helping individuals achieve agreed outcomes.
• Manage risk and safety through assessment, monitoring behaviour, de‑escalation, and ensuring compliance with statutory orders, house rules and occupancy agreements.
• Maintain accurate client records by fully utilising the Trust’s Client File, managing medication in line with policy, and ensuring strict confidentiality.
• Promote participation and involvement by engaging clients in the life of the project, facilitating client meetings, supporting involvement, and managing complaints.
• Work collaboratively as part of the team, contributing to team meetings, supporting referrals, arrivals and departures, and providing advice, guidance and support to colleagues and clients.
