About Our Client

The business is a large-scale entity, with aspirations to double in size in the next 5 years. The business functions you will support and market leaders in their industry, using innovative ideas and technology solutions to meet customer needs. The business operates across UK & Ireland, with multi-site presence, making it a fast paced and energetic organisation! The role requires national travel across multiple sites, and working 3 days in the office in Birmingham per month.

Job Description

  1. Lead, develop and implement the HR vision and strategy across the business, partnering with the senior leadership team to support the growth of the business
  2. Coach leadership teams to drive excellence and high performance across their teams
  3. Own the talent development and succession planning process - creating solutions to develop and build future leaders
  4. Partner with talent acquisition to build future pipelines and strategies for retention and succession planning
  5. Promote high levels of engagement by actioning feedback and implementing initiatives that foster an inclusive environment
  6. Support the business with change management and organisation design aligned with business growth

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of HR should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, working with a blue-collar workforce
  • A strong HR background with a focus on commercial and people management in a similar level role
  • Strategic and operational experience
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business, from operational teams to senior leadership
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and problem-solving skills
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and passion for leading HR initiatives
