Job summary

Strode Park Foundation in Herne Bay is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Manager to lead our domestic and laundry teams and uphold the highest cleanliness and infection-control standards across the home.

This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers an hourly rate of £14.42, with responsibilities including rotas, stock management, budgets and hands-on coverage when required, ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable and valued.

Qualifications

• Experience leading housekeeping/housekeeping teams in care settings.
• Ability to plan rotas and manage stock and budgets.
• Basic English and maths skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support housekeeping and laundry colleagues through supervision and rotas.
• Inspect resident rooms and shared spaces and drive improvements.
• Embed infection-control, health & safety and safe chemical handling.
