Fuse Energy is hiring a Head of Hardware with Electronics Design experience in London to lead the hardware engineering function for connected energy devices. The role covers electronics, embedded, test and compliance, delivering robust hardware at scale.

You will drive strategy, work with product and software teams, and ensure safety and regulatory standards across markets. Excellent leadership and hands-on design skills are essential.

Competenze

• 10+ years in electronics design engineering.
• At least 3 years leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience taking hardware from concept to production.
• Proficiency in schematics, PCB layout, bring-up and debugging.
• Experience with embedded firmware and IoT connectivity.
• Experience with power electronics or grid-connected hardware.

Mansioni

• Own the hardware engineering roadmap and lead development of connected energy devices.
• Take products from prototype to mass production with focus on quality and manufacturability.
• Lead hardware engineering disciplines under one technical direction and architecture.
• Own hardware safety and regulatory compliance (CE/UKCA, EMC).
• Manage contract manufacturers, suppliers and test houses; ensure supply chain resilience.
