Job summary

Fuse Energy is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to validate hardware and energy systems across lab and field environments. You will design and run tests, ensure regulatory compliance, and support certification activities in collaboration with hardware, firmware, software and operations teams.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on electrical testing experience, knowledge of LVD/EMC/grid codes, and a track record of delivering thorough test documentation in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in hardware test, compliance, or certification engineering.
• Hands-on experience with electrical or power-electronic systems.
• Experience with standard test equipment and documentation.
• Familiarity with LVD/EMC/grid-connection standards or ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up, and execute validation, verification and compliance tests on Fuse Energy hardware systems.
• Coordinate with notified bodies, test houses and third-party labs for external certification.
• Support in-field testing, commissioning, and acceptance activities to validate safety and performance.
• Execute test campaigns covering electrical safety, EMC, grid code compliance, and environmental requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with hardware, firmware, and systems; drive corrective actions.
