Job summary

allpay Limited is seeking an experienced Head of Governance, Risk, Legal and Information Security to lead a broad portfolio within the Governance function. Reporting to the Governance Director, you will unite Enterprise Risk, Information Security, Data Governance, Contracts and Commercial Legal support, creating a joined-up approach that protects the organisation while enabling commercial decision-making.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Governance, Risk, Legal and Information Security to lead a broad and strategically important portfolio within our Governance function.
Reporting to the Governance Director, you will bring together Enterprise Risk, Information Security, Data Governance, Contracts and Commercial Legal support, creating a joined-up approach that protects the organisation while enabling good, commercially informed decision-making.
You will provide senior-level insight, assurance and constructive challenge, helping the Executive and wider business identify, understand and manage material risks. You’ll also directly own our enterprise risk agenda while providing leadership across information security, data, contracts and legal support.
We are an office-first organisation, and this is a highly collaborative leadership role. You will be visible across the business, building relationships and working alongside senior leaders and teams to make good governance part of how we operate, embedded within the organisation rather than something that sits on the sidelines.
This is also an opportunity to further professionalise and develop the function, bringing greater structure, consistency and clarity to how the teams operate. You will strengthen capability, define clear standards and ways of working, and create an environment in which accountable, high-performing teams can thrive.

You will be a pragmatic, commercially minded governance and risk leader who can see the bigger picture while knowing when the detail matters.
