Job summary

Holland & Barrett is seeking an experienced Head of Product Development to lead the Own Brand product development pipeline across supplements, food, active nutrition and beauty. You will shape a global strategy, deliver end-to-end NPD from concept to launch, and build a high-performing team in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Significant hands on experience in Supplements is essential.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, brand or consumer product development including Own Brand.
• Proven leadership of high-performing Product Development teams.
• Experience leading multi-category NPD from strategy and concept through to launch.
• Strong track record of creating differentiated, commercially successful products.
• Strong commercial acumen across sales, margin, cost management and investment decisions.
• Experience in a regulated or quality-led environment is highly desirable, particularly health/wellness/supplements/food/beauty.
• Strong senior stakeholder influencing skills and the ability to drive pace in complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver global Own Brand product development strategy and 3-5 year innovation pipeline.
• Lead end-to-end NPD delivery from concept through to launch within timelines and budgets.
• Translate insights into differentiated product propositions with clear differentiation.
• Shape long-term Own Brand portfolio and range architecture.
• Collaborate with Science and Product Integrity to ensure quality and formulation standards.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Sourcing, Marketing, Design and international teams to align priorities and pace.
