Job summary

Buckinghamshire Mind is seeking a Gateway Community Navigator Team Lead to manage a small team delivering practical support and signposting to patients in the Bucks area. The role is based at Whiteleaf Centre, Aylesbury, with a salary of £29,795 per year and a permanent contract.

The Team Lead will supervise Community Navigators, hold a caseload, and collaborate with Oxford Health's Gateway clinical team to ensure effective access to services and safety netting for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience as a community-based adult mental health support worker.
• Excellent team management skills with supervision responsibilities.
• Experience working in systems addressing social determinants of stress on wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Coach and support the team to deliver high-quality support to individuals referred to the Gateway Community Navigators.
• Manage a small caseload with focus on complex cases, providing initial assessments and solution-focused support.
• Advise on safeguarding and referrals by liaising with Buckinghamshire Mind Safeguarding lead and Gateway Supervisor.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding of Gateway Community Navigators as roles become available.
