Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a senior leader to head Financial Planning & Analysis, shaping strategy, planning, forecasting and performance insight to support growth and profitability. The role offers high visibility with Executive, Board and Group stakeholders, and a hybrid office pattern.

Based at Guildford, London or Bournemouth, the post requires attending the office about 50% of the time and leading an FP&A team to deliver timely, accurate plans and insightful analyses for decision making.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant or Actuary.
• Experience leading FP&A teams.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
• Knowledge of insurance P&L reporting and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual planning cycle and regular forecasting activities.
• Oversee development and enhancement of financial planning infrastructure.
• Lead monthly and quarterly financial results cycle including UK consolidation and Group reporting.
• Deliver high-quality financial analysis, insight and challenge for strategic decisions.
• Develop meaningful management information and performance reporting for Executive and senior stakeholders.
• Challenge planning and forecasting to optimise performance and accountability.
• Drive competitor, market and regulatory analysis for strategic insight.
• Build relationships across Finance, Actuarial, Pricing and Group stakeholders.
• Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing FP&A team.
