Allianz UK is seeking a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the financial strategy, planning, forecasting and performance insight across the UK business. The role has high visibility with Executive, Board and Group stakeholders and offers hybrid working with 50% office attendance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant or Actuary by profession.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing FP&A teams.
• Strong FP&A expertise within a complex organisation.
• Solid knowledge of insurance profit and loss reporting.
• Exceptional analytical skills for interpreting complex data.
• Experience with data visualization and MI reporting.
• Advanced Excel with pivot, lookup and modelling.
• Experience delivering planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ability to present complex financials to senior audiences.
• Proven stakeholder management and senior leadership influence.
• Attention to detail with high quality outputs under deadlines.
• Proven collaboration across Finance, Actuarial and Pricing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination, governance and delivery of the annual planning cycle and forecasting activities.
• Oversee development of financial planning infrastructure for efficient plan delivery.
• Lead monthly/quarterly results cycle, UK consolidation and Group reporting.
• Deliver high-quality financial analysis, insight and challenge for strategic decisions.
• Develop meaningful management information for Executive and senior stakeholders.
• Challenge planning assumptions to optimise performance and accountability.
• Drive market, competitor and regulatory analysis to enhance insight.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, Actuarial, Pricing and Group stakeholders.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing FP&A team and continuous improvement culture.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes and systems.
