Job summary

Kroo Bank in London is seeking a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead forecasting, budgeting, and performance insight across the business. You will build and run financial models from scratch, partner with senior stakeholders, and shape strategic decisions within a fast-growing challenger bank.

The role emphasizes end-to-end modelling in Excel/Google Sheets, Python automation, and a strong controls framework, with collaboration across Finance, Risk, Product and Operations.

Qualifications

• Degree level education or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related discipline
• Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) required
• Ongoing professional development in financial modelling, forecasting, planning, data analytics, banking capital, or prudential regulation
• Experience in a challenger bank, fintech, or high growth financial services environment is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end financial models covering P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, reforecasting, and multi year planning cycles
• Develop driver-based forecasting frameworks for key banking metrics
• Provide management information and performance insights for senior leadership
• Collaborate with Treasury and Risk on balance sheet, capital, and liquidity considerations
• Create and maintain planning tools in Excel and Google Sheets with automation
• Use Python to automate analysis and improve data quality
• Support capital and regulatory planning within prudential framework
