Job summary

Kroo Bank is seeking an Associate in Structured Finance to support origination, structuring and execution of structured lending transactions within a fast-growing fintech bank in London. You will conduct detailed credit analysis, financial modelling and documentation support across the end-to-end lifecycle.

The role involves collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, analysing risks and ensuring robust governance and compliance with PRA/FCA norms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in structured finance, leveraged finance, real estate or project finance within the UK market.
• Experience preparing credit papers for UK bank credit committees.
• Familiarity with PRA and FCA regulatory frameworks, including capital considerations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Structured Assets in originating opportunities and build a high-quality pipeline.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for asset backed and cash flow lending.
• Prepare indicative terms, pricing discussions and ensure capital efficiency considerations.
• Produce clear credit papers for ExCo, Credit Committee and Board reviews.
• Coordinate due diligence with internal and external stakeholders to validate key assumptions.
• Analyse financial statements, business plans and cash flow forecasts to assess creditworthiness.
