Job summary

Kroo Bank is building a better bank from the ground up in London, focusing on transparent, fair, and customer-friendly banking. This role supports the Head of Structured Assets in originating lending opportunities, building robust financial models, and preparing credit papers for senior committees.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structured and leveraged finance, with strong regulatory knowledge and the ability to coordinate cross-functional due diligence and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years' experience in structured finance, leveraged finance, real estate finance, project finance, or corporate banking within the UK market.
• Experience preparing credit papers for UK bank credit committees.
• Familiarity with PRA and FCA regulatory frameworks, including capital considerations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Structured Assets in originating structured lending opportunities across originators, sponsors, and asset classes.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for asset backed and cash flow lending transactions.
• Prepare indicative terms and commercial proposals, including RWAs, RAROC, ROE, and NIM, and contribute to pricing and structuring discussions.
• Prepare clear, well evidenced credit papers for Executive Committee, Credit Committee, and Board level review.
• Coordinate and support thorough due diligence with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyse financial statements, business plans, collateral performance, and cash flow forecasts, assessing creditworthiness.
• Identify and monitor key risks, ensuring alignment with policy and regulatory expectations.
• Work with legal counsel to support negotiation of facility agreements and documentation.
• Coordinate completion mechanics, approvals, funding, and treasury requirements.
• Monitor portfolio performance and covenant compliance, escalate risks, and report.
