Job summary

Rathbones is seeking a Head of Financial Analysis & Data to lead the Group Financial Analysis, Insight & Data team across London, Liverpool and Leeds. You will drive the strategic direction, ensure accurate management reporting and enable senior leadership with clear, data-driven insights.

In this FTC, you will shape processes, control frameworks and partner with client-facing teams and RAM, CCO and Distribution to support commercial performance and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team under pressure.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to link financial insights to business strategy.
• Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy, quality and control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Confidence presenting to senior management and influencing decisions with evidence.
• Experience analysing data from multiple systems for insight and reporting.
• Understanding of financial control environments, especially for complex reporting.
• Experience sharing complex information across a broad stakeholder base.
• Knowledge of data governance, reporting systems and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Financial Analysis, Insight & Data team with clear priorities and a culture of accuracy and collaboration.
• Develop and maintain processes and control frameworks for timely management information production (FUMA, net flows).
• Lead commercial analysis and business partnering for executive leadership and distribution teams.
• Provide analysis to support strategic decisions and assessment of opportunities.
• Oversee pricing and remuneration analysis to support commercial decisions.
• Turn data into actionable commercial insights for management.
• Collaborate with Group Data on governance, systems and controls for Finance needs.
• Oversee ad hoc reporting for internal and external purposes.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders including GEC and senior business leads.
• Drive improvements to processes, procedures and systems in partnership with Change and Technology.
• Lead the team through annual performance reviews and development plans.
