Description:

Our client is a leading player in the FMCG industry, based in Nottingham, known for its innovative approach and commitment to quality. They are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead the finance function within this key manufacturing site and play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial strategy and performance.

As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, providing strategic direction, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with a strong background in FMCG or complex manufacturing environments, seeking the next step in their career.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and maintain systems and procedures for management and financial accounting.
• Ensure timely preparation of accounts and fulfill internal and external reporting requirements.
• Provide financial advice and guidance to senior management and the Board.
• Manage site working capital, including inventory and fixed assets.
• Lead and develop the Finance team, ensuring performance and skills meet evolving needs.

Skills and Attributes:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience in a similar FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in managing large-scale financial and management information systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial data effectively.
• Commercially minded, with a passion for the FMCG industry and a track record of driving improvements.

What's on Offer:

£85,000 - £95,000 + benefits, including bonus

Nottingham-based, on-site 5 days a week.
