Our public sector client is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join as their Head of Finance, reporting into a Director. This pivotal role will lead to the provision of high-quality post-award advice and support and will manage all financial and legal aspects of contracts.

Your new role

• You will be responsible for a team of 18 staff, promoting and maintaining a high-quality Professional Services team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• You will ensure compliance with funding policies, statutory reporting, and internal and external audits.
• You will oversee the provision of up-to-date project reporting to key stakeholders and Finance Business Partners.
• You will work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment of services and ensure service delivery meets statutory, legal, and financial reporting requirements.
• The role also involves providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders in accordance with corporate timetables.

• Salary £60,000 - £74,800 plus an enhanced, generous pension.
