Job summary

AUTEL Energy - Europe is seeking an experienced Head of Field Engineering to lead our UK and Ireland field operations. You will manage a small team of field engineers, develop the technical capabilities of customers’ installation contractors and authorised service partners, and ensure high standards of onsite service quality.

Regular travel to customer sites and Watford may be required. You will guide technical training, oversee fault diagnosis and escalation handling, and work with our Remote

Qualifications

Strong electrical engineering background with hands-on field experience.
Proven leadership of field engineers or technical teams.
Experience delivering technical training to engineers/contractors.
Knowledge of AC and/or DC EV charging systems and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a small field engineering team across the UK & Ireland.
Deliver technical training to installation contractors and service partners.
Ensure high onsite service quality by auditing performance and driving improvements.
Coordinate field engineering resources for complex escalations and urgent needs.
Collaborate with service operations, remote support and product teams to resolve issues.
