Job summary

Priory Hospital Ayr Clinic is seeking a Head of Facilities to lead the Estates and Facilities operations across the Ayr site. You will line manage Housekeeping, Administration, Medical Secretaries, Maintenance, Reception and Catering, while contributing as a member of the Hospital Senior Management Team.

You will possess strong leadership, budget control and health & safety knowledge, with experience in healthcare or hospitality settings.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proven direct line management experience, ideally at a senior management level.
• Experience working within Healthcare or Hospitality in a similar operational role.
• Strong project management experience with relevant qualification.
• Experience of budget management and financial responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the hospital, including Estates and Facilities.
• Direct line management of Housekeeping, Administration, Medical Secretaries, Maintenance, Reception and Catering teams.
• Support the wider team and site as needed and be part of the Hospital Senior Management Team.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviours and contribute to a positive high-performing culture.
