Job summary

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in estate, building or engineering
• Professional membership of a body such as RICS, CIOB, IWFM, CIBSE or APM
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Negotiations skills with strong listening and collaboration abilities
• Ability to write clear, concise reports and documentation
• Ability to adapt to change and solve problems

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and maintain planning and delivery across the BBSRC UK Estate, including contract & project assurance and risk management.
• Provide strategic leadership for capital works funded via the BBSRC Estates Panel Programme.
• Manage strategic risk and ensure compliance with health, safety, sustainability and environmental requirements across the estate.
• Collaborate with BBSRC Institutes to develop five-year asset management plans and oversee long-term maintenance programmes.
