Job summary

Dorchester Collection seeks an Equestrian Manager to lead the equestrian department and deliver the highest standards of care, presentation and service for our horse-riding guests. You will inspire the team, plan staffing and ensure safety, welfare and guest satisfaction across all riding activities.

You will coordinate horse care, equipment, training and guest interactions, while driving quality standards and a premium guest experience within our luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing daily equestrian operations and guest interactions.
• Ability to mentor and coach team members to deliver service standards.
• Strong safety awareness and equipment handling for riding guests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee horses daily care, feeding, exercise and schooling for guest rides.
• Coordinate shoeing, veterinary needs, saddlery and equipment upkeep.
• Manage staffing, shift planning, training and performance reviews.
• Handle guest inquiries, bookings and safety briefings for riding sessions.
• Develop and implement marketing/packages to boost sales and guest experiences.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and up-to-date certifications.
