Hartpury University and Hartpury College is recruiting to lead the English and Maths provision, guiding a team delivering GCSE and Functional Skills programmes. You will drive high‑quality teaching and learning, aiming to maximise student achievement and progress within an inclusive, engaging learning environment.

The role combines leadership with teaching, assessment and internal verification responsibilities, offering an exciting opportunity for an ambitious educator to influence student

• Degree level or equivalent required.
• Understanding of processes of teaching, learning and assessment, and what constitutes strong quality delivery.
• Solid understanding of the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework.

About You

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent in an appropriate subject.
• You will have an understanding of the processes of teaching, learning and assessment, and what constitutes strong and exceptional quality of delivery
• You will have a sound understanding of the renewed Ofsted Education Inspection Framework.
• You will have an understanding of and commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity in the working and learning environment.
• Whilst not essential, we particularly welcome applications from those with A Level or GCSE teaching/leadership experience.
