Job summary

Hartpury University and Hartpury College are seeking an ambitious educator to lead our English and Maths provision, guiding GCSE and Functional Skills delivery to help students realise their potential.

You will head a dedicated team, drive high-quality teaching and assessment, and support learners to achieve outstanding progress through inclusive, engaging practice while balancing leadership with teaching responsibilities and internal verification duties.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in an appropriate subject.
• Understanding of teaching, learning and assessment processes and what constitutes high-quality delivery.
• Knowledge of the revised Ofsted Education Inspection Framework.
• Commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity in learning environments.
• Desirable: experience teaching/leading A Level or GCSE would be welcomed.

Responsibilities

• You will have a sound understanding of the renewed Ofsted Education Inspection Framework.
• You will have an understanding of and commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity in the working and learning environment.
• Whilst not essential, we particularly welcome applications from those with A Level or GCSE teaching/leadership experience.
