Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Rogerstone is seeking a senior engineering projects professional to manage the divisional capital plan and drive multi-million-pound initiatives across our manufacturing sites. You will oversee capital builds, facilities upgrades and equipment replacements while maintaining production safety and minimal disruption.

You will work with site engineering, operations, procurement and external partners to deliver projects on time, to budget and to specification, ensuring risk

About The Role

This is a senior role with responsibility for managing the divisional capital plan, working closely with our sites to identify, prioritise and deliver projects that support the future of our manufacturing operations.

You will work across a broad range of projects, including capital builds, facilities, equipment replacement and upgrades, reliability improvements and productivity opportunities. A key part of the role will be ensuring that complex and high-value projects are delivered safely, effectively and with minimal disruption to live production environments.

You will work closely with site engineering and operational teams, as well as suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders, taking projects from initial planning and investment through to implementation and completion.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own and manage the divisional capital plan, ensuring projects are prioritised and delivered against business requirements.
• Lead the delivery of complex, intrusive and high-value engineering projects within live production environments.
• Work collaboratively with sites to understand operational requirements and identify opportunities for capital investment, productivity, reliability and improvement.
• Oversee projects covering capital builds, facilities, equipment replacement, equipment upgrades and productivity improvements.
• Follow a structured project management process to ensure major, multi-million-pound projects are properly planned, governed and implemented.
• Lead effective supplier and contractor management, ensuring external partners deliver against agreed expectations.
• Manage project risks, budgets, timelines and dependencies, providing clear reporting and escalation where required.
• Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Procurement and site leadership teams to ensure successful project delivery.

About You

We're looking for an experienced engineering projects professional who has successfully delivered major capital projects within complex manufacturing environments.

• Proven experience of leading and managing complex, intrusive, high-value projects within live production environments.
• Proven experience of following a structured process for managing multi-million-pound projects.
• A strong track record of delivering large-scale projects on time, on cost and to specification.
• Proven experience of delivering a broad range of engineering projects through effective supplier and contractor management.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness, with experience managing significant capital budgets.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders, site teams, suppliers and contractors.
• Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG or similarly complex operational environment would be highly beneficial.
