Job Description:

We are Pretty You London, a growing fashion brand based in Wythenshawe, South Manchester, known for redefining relaxation through luxurious nightwear, loungewear, and slippers. With a strong D2C presence and loyal customer base, we’re on a mission to grow our offerings and our audiences, and we want you to help lead that journey.

As Head of Ecommerce, you’ll report directly to the CEO and take full ownership of our digital strategy across D2C, marketplaces and retail partners. You’ll lead a small but agile in-house team, manage performance marketing and platform optimisation, and deliver revenue growth through customer-centric innovation and operational excellence.

If you’re looking for an exciting new challenge, can demonstrate that you have the required skill set and relish the opportunity to show us what you can do, then we’d love to hear from you.

You must have previous Shopify and marketplaces experience to be considered for this role. You will also have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for this role).

Who we’re looking for

We’re a collaborative, close-knit team with a passion for product and purpose. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is customer-obsessed and insight-driven
  • Thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
  • Enjoys taking ownership and hitting ambitious goals
  • Brings positive energy, initiative and a team-first mindset

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and grow the ecommerce team.
  • Own the ecommerce P&L and growth KPIs.
  • Own and optimise our Shopify stores with a focus on conversion rate and customer journey improvements.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to drive profitable revenue growth across paid media, SEO, affiliates and CRM.
  • Oversee the management of multiple UK and international online marketplaces, whilst identifying and onboarding new opportunities.
  • Oversee pricing, promotions and product listing strategies across D2C websites and marketplaces.
  • Manage specialist external agency partners.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide reports with actionable insights to improve performance and growth.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve ROI.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other analytical methods to optimise campaign performance.
  • Proactively identify and capitalise on platforms and partnerships to facilitate profitable growth.
  • Ensure compliance with e-commerce regulations, data privacy laws, and online security best practices.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in ecommerce leadership, with recent team management experience, preferably in the fashion / online retail sector.
  • Hands-on experience of ecommerce platforms, ideally Shopify, and marketplaces.
  • Commercial acumen with a history of delivering revenue and conversion growth.
  • Confident across performance marketing disciplines, including paid search, paid social, SEO and affiliates.
  • Hands-on understanding of UX principles, CRO tactics and customer journey optimisation.
  • Experience managing budgets and marketplace trading strategies.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce trends, customer behaviour and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and using analytics tools to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
  • Proficient and confident in using Microsoft Office applications, with familiarity with inventory and order management systems (ideally Linnworks).
  • 20 days' holiday in addition to bank holidays
  • Casual dress code
  • Company events
  • Free on-site parking
  • Excellent transport links (Metro stop opposite the office)
  • Early finish on Fridays
