Job summary

HSBC UK is seeking an experienced Senior Digital Product Design Lead to own end‑to‑end digital experience design across HSBC UK channels. You will define a clear experience vision, translate strategy into a multi‑quarter roadmap, and partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver market‑leading experiences that meet brand, accessibility, governance and risk standards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading strategic product design for multi‑channel journeys.
• Proven ability to influence strategy, prioritisation and investment decisions.
• Strong understanding of regulated delivery, risk appetite and compliance within financial services.
• Advanced expertise in design systems, prototyping, and UX craft.
• Leadership in accessibility, ethical design, and inclusive ways of working.
• Excellent communication and storytelling when presenting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Set vision, strategy and a multi‑quarter experience roadmap aligned to product strategy and HSBC UK standards.
• Lead senior stakeholders, coordinating Product, Engineering, Compliance and Operations decisions.
• Embed customer‑centred discovery at scale with robust qualitative and quantitative insight.
• Oversee end‑to‑end experience coherence across channels, brands and workstreams.
• Raise craft and standards, including continuous evolution of the shared design system.
• Drive governance and build a high‑performing design team with cross‑boundary collaboration.
