Job Description

Are you a skilled digital storyteller who loves delighting people with uplifting and inspiring content? Bring your expertise for uncovering compelling stories and craft content that builds impact and trust across the LEGO Group’s own news channels.

The LEGO Group is one of the world’s most reputable, and well‑loved, brands. It is looking to expand its corporate storytelling across its own social and online channels to strengthen its reputation. To help with this, the company is looking for an experienced digital journalist, editor and/or news‑related content creator.

This is an incredible opportunity to help tell stories that haven’t yet been told by the LEGO Group. You will have independence to develop a highly engaging editorial calendar but work in close collaboration with a world‑class communications team. Most importantly, you will bring new capabilities to the LEGO Group.

Please note No relocation assistance is offered for this position. The level of the role is Director Specialist (individual contributor), and the internal title will be Director of Corporate Content & Channels.

Core Responsibilities
  • Oversee editorial & channel strategy; own and manage the editorial calendar. Build and grow engagement and reach of existing and new corporate news channels, e.g., lego.com newsroom, social channels, new opportunities, etc.
  • Storytelling & content development: develop compelling stories about the LEGO Group’s mission and corporate activities in different formats and for different channels. This includes story ideation, research, production and tracking performance. Themes may include creativity, play, inspiring children, environmental and social impact, innovation, business strategy and performance, our people and our values.
  • Drive reach & engagement: optimise algorithms, SEO, and AI‑powered platforms to drive reach and engagement of owned and earned content to help shape the LEGO Group’s reputation.
  • Track performance & build new capabilities: track, monitor and maximise performance of owned channels. Translate insights into concrete actions to support the LEGO Group’s ambition to strengthen its reputation via owned and earned channels. Lead efforts to build internal skills in digital corporate storytelling.
  • Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders: work closely with the Corporate Communications and other teams across the LEGO Group to unearth and develop short and longer‑term storytelling opportunities.
