Job summary

Bloom & Wild is seeking a Head of Developer Experience to lead our paved road and internal developer platform. You’ll split your time between platform strategy, AI-native transformation, and people leadership, empowering multiple squads with scalable tooling and workflows.

You’ll drive the DevEx roadmap, guide on agentic tooling adoption, and line-manage the DevEx team while collaborating with leadership to optimize costs and vendor relationships across AWS and GCP.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a platform, DevEx or infrastructure team.
• Strong AWS knowledge (ECS Fargate, S3, RDS, Lambda, EventBridge/SNS/SQS) and Terraform experience.
• Hands-on with GitHub Actions, Terraform Cloud and Cloudflare; observability tools experience.
• Proven ability to translate AI tooling into roadmaps for senior stakeholders.
• Track record of developing engineers and coaching managers.

Responsibilities

• Own internal developer platform as a product, enabling engineers to move fast and safely.
• Lead DevEx AI roadmap and drive AI enablement across Product & Technology.
• Line-manage and grow the DevEx engineering team; coach managers.
• Partner with Lead DevSecOps Engineer; manage infra costs and vendor relationships.
• Maintain platform quality, CI/CD health, SLOs and incident ownership across domains.
