Job summary

Soho House & Co. is seeking a hands-on Lead Data Scientist to own ML across Membership, F&B, Operations, Digital and Events. You’ll turn vast datasets into predictive and prescriptive products that guide staffing, personalization and churn reduction. You’ll move models from idea to production and monitor them for ongoing value.

You’ll raise the bar on measurement, clarify impact for leadership, and collaborate with offshore resources to keep standards high and decisions evidence-based.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on data science experience (typically 5+ years) across a broad range of problem types.
• Track record of putting models into production and owning them.
• Strong Python and its data science ecosystem.
• Deep grounding in statistics, experimentation and causal inference (A/B testing, power analysis, etc.).
• Excellent stakeholder skills and ability to explain results clearly.
• Senior hands-on IC who can set direction and review work.
• Experience with a modern cloud data stack (Snowflake, dbt) and ML Ops tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, build and continuous improvement of Soho House's ML portfolio, including churn, segmentation, personalisation and demand forecasting.
• Frame business problems with stakeholders, define success metrics and deliver measurable impact.
• Manage full model lifecycle: scoping, development, validation, deployment, monitoring and recalibration.
• Set up ML Ops standards and collaborate with Data Engineering to productionise models on our stack.
• Build monitoring, data drift alerts and clear review cycles for model performance.
• Establish frameworks for experimentation and measurement across analytics.
• Partner with multiple teams to prioritise data science work by value and communicate results to leadership.
