Job summary

Soho House seeks a hands-on Lead Data Scientist to own ML across Membership, Food & Beverage, Operations, Digital and Events. You will turn vast datasets into predictive and prescriptive products that improve how we run our Houses and serve our members, from churn prediction to demand forecasting for staffing.

You will take models from idea to production, monitor them, and drive measurement standards across the analytics team, while collaborating with stakeholders and guiding offshore resources

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data science experience across a broad range of problems.
• Experience putting models into production and owning them long-term.
• Strong Python and data science ecosystem proficiency.
• Deep grounding in statistics, experimentation and causal inference.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to frame business questions clearly.
• Senior hands-on IC capable of guiding others and reviewing work.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, build and continuous improvement of the ML portfolio across business areas.
• Frame problems with stakeholders, select approaches, and set measurable success metrics.
• Own full model lifecycle: scoping, development, validation, deployment, monitoring, retraining.
• Establish ML Ops standards: registry, governance, documentation.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to productionize models on GCP/Snowflake/Airflow.
• Build monitoring for model accuracy, data drift, and business impact; set alerts.
