Burberry is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Products & Governance to lead a product-led data discipline. You will line-manage five Data Product Managers and a Data Governance Manager, shaping roadmaps, defining outcomes and driving adoption across the enterprise data portfolio.

You will partner with Enterprise Data leadership and cross-functional squads to embed governance by design, ensure data quality and privacy, and translate business needs into measurable data products and governance

Qualificações

• Experience leading data product management, digital product management or data analytics product teams in a complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of product management practices: discovery, roadmaps, prioritisation, adoption and lifecycle management.
• Experience operating in an Agile or product-led environment with cross-functional engineering delivery teams.
• Deep knowledge of data governance concepts: ownership, stewardship, quality, metadata, lineage, glossary, catalogue and governance models.
• Ability to prioritise a portfolio of data demands, balancing strategic value, risk and capacity.
• Proven people leadership, coaching and development of product managers and governance professionals.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the Data Products & Governance capability and team with accountability for performance and resource allocation.
• Define and maintain the data product management lifecycle and operating model.
• Own the enterprise data product portfolio with clear owners, measurable outcomes and roadmaps.
• Coach product managers to translate user needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Shape portfolio demand and prioritisation with leadership to balance value, risk and capacity.
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers and engineering leads to ensure alignment of what and why with execution.
• Establish measures of adoption, data quality, and governance maturity to guide investment decisions.
• Partner with senior business leaders to promote reusable data products and governance practices.
