Job summary

Burberry is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Products & Governance to lead a product-led approach to data across the organization. You will line-manage five Data Product Managers and the Data Governance Manager, shaping roadmaps and driving adoption.

You will ensure governance is embedded by design, covering data quality, metadata, privacy and classification, in close partnership with Risk & Cyber Security. The role connects business value, product priorities and governance into a coherent

Qualifications

Proven experience leading data product management or analytics product teams.
Strong understanding of product management lifecycle: discovery, vision, roadmaps, prioritisation, outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Data Products & Governance capability with five Data Product Managers and Data Governance Manager.
Define and maintain Burberry's data product management operating model and lifecycle.
Own the enterprise data product portfolio with clear ownership, measurable outcomes and roadmaps.
Coach Product Managers in requirement definition and prioritisation with evidence-based trade-offs.
Drive portfolio-level demand shaping with enterprise data leadership and delivery teams.
Ensure governance is embedded across the data product lifecycle (quality, metadata, privacy, security).
Provide portfolio and governance reporting to leadership and committees.
