Job summary

Be-IT is seeking a Head of Data Analytics to lead a data team, own the full data platform, and work with senior leadership on data strategy and governance.

You will own pipelines, architecture, and BI tooling, driving AI use cases while maintaining data integrity and security across the organisation.

Fantastic opportunity to join a mission driven, public sector adjacent organisation who are seeking a Head of Data Analytics and Reporting.

Lead a data team, run the platform behind it and help shape future data strategy.

We’re looking for a Head of Data Analytics who is technically strong and happy to lead people. You’ll own the full data platform, lead a small team and work directly with senior leadership on data strategy and governance.

What you’ll do

• Own the end-to-end data platform, from pipelines and medallion architecture to Fabric administration and capacity monitoring
• Lead and develop a small analytics team
• Work with stakeholders across the business and take part in IT sprints to protect data integrity
• Build the data governance framework and roadmap
• Prototype and demonstrate practical AI use cases

What you’ll bring

• A strong technical data background
• Microsoft Fabric experience is preferred but not essential. Equivalent platforms such as Snowflake and dbt are fine
• Power BI, SQL, DAX and some Python
• Experience leading a team and presenting to senior stakeholders
• Self-motivation, because you’ll set your own priorities rather than work to imposed deadlines
• A positive, low-turnover culture with a clear purpose
• Real influence over data strategy and AI adoption
