Job summary

Qurated in London seeks a Data Platform Manager to lead the data platform team and architect the next generation data platform. You will combine leadership with hands-on delivery to build scalable, governed data foundations supporting BI, analytics engineering, data science and AI across the business.

Hybrid role based in London, with collaboration across governance, catalogue and master data teams to ensure trusted outputs and ongoing platform improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or modern data platform teams.
• Experience with data warehouse, lakehouse or medallion architecture patterns.
• Strong SQL, data ingestion, transformation, orchestration skills.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture and governance functions.
• Bonus: experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or Azure Synapse.

• Implementing a medallion architecture that supports trusted, reusable and well governed data assets.

The Role

We're hiring a Data Platform Manager to lead the data platform team and implement the organisation's next generation data platform capabilities.

This is a hands on leadership role combining people management, platform implementation and strong technical contribution, giving you the chance to shape governed, scalable data foundations that support business intelligence, analytics engineering, data science and AI across the business.
