First Intuition is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager (Head of Data Engineering) to lead the development of a modern data platform across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks and Power BI. You will shape data strategy, govern data quality and security, and manage a growing team to support reporting, analytics and AI initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring leadership in Data Platform or Analytics Engineering, deep SQL/Python skills, and strong stakeholder engagement within regulated

Qualifications

• Experience leading Data Engineering, Data Platform or Analytics Engineering teams.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Python and SQL.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
• Experience in education, apprenticeships or a regulated environment is advantageous.
• Certifications from Microsoft and/or Databricks.
• Familiarity with Power BI semantic models and self-service analytics.
• Knowledge of AI-ready data platforms and emerging analytics technologies.

• A passion for turning data into meaningful business outcomes
• Experience within education, apprenticeships or another regulated environment.
