Job summary

Greggs plc is seeking a Data Science and Insight Lead to drive customer insights across the Customer team in Newcastle. You will transform data into actionable recommendations to improve loyalty, visit frequency and commercial performance, using advanced analytics, predictive modelling and experimentation.

You will partner with stakeholders to shape customer strategy, marketing activity and business decisions, while leading a high-performing analytics team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience analysing customer, transactional and digital data.
• Proven ability with segmentation, retention, CLV and churn modelling.
• Ability to translate data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Experience designing and evaluating experiments (A/B testing).
• Comfort with large customer datasets and dashboarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of customer insight to understand loyalty, frequency and spend.
• Identify trends and opportunities from data to inform business decisions.
• Translate analysis into actionable recommendations for Marketing, Commercial, Digital and Finance.
