Job summary

Slingshot AI is seeking a Head of Creative - Paid Social to join our marketing team. You will own the creative loop, write hooks, produce visuals, and iterate quickly to scale Ash’s reach.

This hands-on role requires building repeatable testing, shaping concepts, and collaborating with media buying. You come from paid or creative with performance copy chops, able to turn product and audience insights into creative that wins for a consumer/subscription audience.

Qualifications

• Experience in writing performance copy; taste and fast iteration.
• From the paid side moving into creative, or creative moving toward paid. Both work.
• Consumer-focused, ideally subscription.
• Set up clean tests and defend your taste with argument.
• You want to work on mental health for a reason you can state.

Responsibilities

• Own the weekly experiment loop: hypothesis, A/B test, read results, identify winners, iterate.
• Build a repeatable testing cadence: angle library, naming/tagging, and real-user language bank.
• Create winning concepts and increase hit rate while managing spend to prove ideas.
• Write hooks, headlines, overlays, and scripts in the voice of the scrolling user.
• Brief at volume for multiple creators, built for what each network rewards.
• Coach creators with sharp feedback; can do creator ops and content production if needed.
• Work with media buying weekly; read KPIs and challenge the buyer on their ground.
• Develop product and audience understanding to decide what works as AI output changes.
• Set the visual and verbal point of view for Ash in market; we don’t look like the rest.
