Job summary

Searchandselect seeks a Head of Compliance to lead regulatory oversight and risk for the group. The role includes acting as MLRO, shaping the compliance framework, and guiding governance discussions with the Board.

The ideal candidate will have substantial senior experience in regulated financial services, strong Isle of Man AML/CFT knowledge, and a track record of engaging with regulators and driving regulatory change.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in regulated financial services.
• Proven MLRO/DMLRO or equivalent role within fiduciary or trust services.
• Strong knowledge of Isle of Man AML/CFT rules and corporate governance.
• Experience engaging with regulatory authorities and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Act as Group Head of Compliance and MLRO per regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and oversee the compliance framework across the Group.
• Develop policies, procedures and controls for regulatory compliance.
• Lead annual Compliance Monitoring Programme.
• Oversee risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting.
• Ensure anti-money laundering, sanctions, and data protection compliance.
• Provide guidance to Board and senior management on regulatory matters.
• Liaise with regulators and manage regulatory relationships.
• Prepare compliance, risk and financial crime reports for governance bodies.
• Oversee Data Protection compliance and obligations under data protection laws.
