Job description

Please note: We are looking for candidates who are willing to come into our London office 2-3 times per week. The role involves face-to-face client interaction approximately 20% of the time across the UK, including London.

Skin Analytics is an award-winning health tech company that has launched the world’s first AI-supported Skin Cancer pathway for faster diagnosis. We are the first to receive a NICE recommendation for our skin cancer AI, DERM, used across the NHS, with deployment in over 25 organizations and growing. We collaborate with major health insurers to reach patients at home. After a recent £15M Series B funding round and achieving Class III EU MDR certification, we are poised for international scaling.

The Role

As our NHS Commercial Lead, you will be responsible for our commercial strategy and achieving multi-million bottom-line results within the NHS. This includes line management of our Sales Manager and Lead Account Manager, overseeing teams responsible for new and existing business. You will serve as the internal expert on NHS organization, decision-making, policy, funding, procurement, and innovation strategies. Your expertise, network, and strategic approach will help make Skin Analytics’ AI solutions the standard pathway in NHS dermatology. You will provide a high level of service to strategic partners and represent the company as a thought leader to NHS stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  1. Own and drive NHS revenue targets, overseeing two departments focused on new business and customer retention.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with NHS decision-makers, including ICBs, NHS Trusts, and PCNs.
  3. Coordinate NHS sales and retention strategies, balancing immediate wins with long-term relationships to position Skin Analytics as a trusted partner.
  4. Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Transformation teams to shape NHS-specific campaigns, influence product development, and improve processes.
  5. Develop commercial strategies, including pricing, contracting, and procurement, aligned with NHS policies and market trends, in partnership with Finance and Legal teams.
  6. Represent the company at NHS industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance market presence.

Essential Skills

  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of meeting NHS revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of NHS structures, decision processes, and procurement frameworks.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior NHS stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking to align commercial, product, and innovation strategies with NHS needs.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration, especially with Product, Marketing, and Transformation teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with SaaS solutions in the NHS market.
  • Knowledge of value-based healthcare, NHS digital initiatives, and funding mechanisms.
  • Leadership experience in high-growth or scaling businesses.
