Up Front Recruitment is helping a long-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor recruit a Head of Commercial to lead the civils arm. The role is based in the Manchester area, full-time and permanent, with a salary between £70,000 and £90,000 plus a competitive package and benefits.

You will report directly to the Managing Director and Finance Director, taking ownership of commercial strategy, risk and performance across multiple live projects and helping shape the operation's

Formación

• Senior commercial experience within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Ability to advise at MD/FD level.
• Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
• Experience with CVRs, forecasting, cash flow and reporting.
• Strong commercial judgement and ownership mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the civils commercial function across multiple projects.
• Provide financial and contractual control.
• Support bid strategy, pricing and contract negotiations.
• Report to MD and FD on commercial performance.
• Develop and improve commercial processes and reporting.
